1 pretty purple half-used skein of yarn
1 crochet hook
1 hour-long drive
1 sleeping child
1 driving husband
1 bored mama/wife
Mix together, simmer for an hour, out pops a hat.
Hat's cute on it's own, but needs some frosting.
1 half-used skein of pink yarn
1 pink button
Stir vigorously. Carefully attach to hat.
Perfection!
