Can anyone else say "FINALLY!"??  This nice spring-ish weather has been a long time coming, and boy have we here in Zoo-Town needed it.  It's a rough enough winter, but then when it takes two extra months for the sun to show its glowing face and for those cleansing rains and winds to blow in, it makes living here challenging.  But then give we Missoulians two days in the sun like we had last week, and voila! We forget there ever was such a thing as winter!

Lucky for me, I have a fun little hobby I can do rain or shine, and I've been up to my usual production of 3-4 hats per week.  This is a small Herculean feat, as I have also been busy doing about a million other little things, but I am so excited to see more little kids give my hats the true personality that they deserve.  After all, a hat is nothing without the perfect head to sit upon, no?

And in celebration of being in business for 6 weeks, and the fact that my Ellie B. turned 6 months old on Sunday, I'm announcing a new giveaway opportunity. The Easter Bunny Delivered

Well, of course I had a fantastic time with my family this past weekend. We rented a very nice cabin in the woods outside Challis, ID, spent some time 4-wheeling, playing games, dyeing eggs and hunting for those eggs, eating yummy food and of course, crocheting!  I actually finished FIVE of my beanies this weekend...Here are a couple of them (pics from my phone, so excuse the low quality):

Also want to say a big Congrats to my buddy Aimee who won the Easter BOGO Giveaway.  She gets TWO free beanies!  Her daughter is one lucky kiddo--but I think maybe Aimee needs one for herself as well?  :)

Hope you all have a great week--I know I sure have my week cut out for me getting my orders filled.  Gonna need a nice manicure/hand massage this coming weekend.

BOGO FREE: Happy Easter!

I have been looking forward to this weekend forever!  Easter is my favorite holiday for one thing (chocolate, colored eggs, renewal, Spring!)  And bonus: we are going to see my extended family, who live six hundred miles away, and only see a couple times a year.

Since I'm going "off the grid" this weekend (remote mountain cabin, here we come!), I thought I'd start a fun contest for my awesome customers, so I'll have something exciting to come home to (and distract me from my oh-so-short visit with the fam.)

So here's the deal:  everyone who orders from me this Friday-Sunday, April 22-24, will be entered into a drawing.  And the prize? BOGO! But not just some little BOGO 1/2 off, mine is Buy One, Get One FREE.  I'll get home late on Sunday, so first thing Monday I will randomly draw the winner's name from my weekend orders, and that person will get BOGO FREE on everything they purchase from me**!  That's right...you order one ellieBand, you could win one for FREE.  Order two beanies?
